Communications Internship Opportunity

The Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) is the regulator of the pensions and insurance industry in Zambia. The Authority’s mandate also extends to developing the industry and protecting interests of pension scheme members and insurance policyholders.

PIA is now seeking an intern to be part of the Communications Unit. Working under the Communications Manager, the intern will support the on-going workplans of unit including but not limited to, improving content management on the website and social media platforms, supporting awareness campaigns, media monitoring and production of IEC materials.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate in Public Relations/Journalism/Mass Communication
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications including word, excel, powerpoint
  • Strong digital media skills will be an added advantage
